Finding your dream wedding venue can be super challenging. And if you’re anything like me and don’t want a typical ballroom wedding, finding a unique, outdoor wedding venue can add an extra level of difficulty. On top of all that, if you live in Southeast Michigan and you’ve decided to keep your wedding local, your options are extremely limited. That’s actually something I can’t quite figure out. There seems to be an untapped market in this area. Any entrepreneurs reading this, you’re welcome. So that brings me to this list which I’ve carefully researched and crafted for you. Because your wedding venue should make you feel giddy as hell.

  3. Cushing Field House in Holly, MI. This venue combines rustic charm with chic details. Plus you have the option to host your ceremony and/or reception either indoors or outdoors. Occupancy is 200.

  4. Zingerman’s Cornman Farms in Dexter, MI. This is a 42-acre working farm with a relaxed elegance vibe. Features a tree-lined drive, historic buildings, and plenty of gardens. Occupancy is 300.

  7. Odin’s Owl in Millington, MI. Secluded 15-acre venue with hand-crafted timber framing and cathedral ceilings. Aside from the interior space, there are also plenty of options next to the site’s ponds and forest to choose from if you want to hold your ceremony or reception outside. Occupancy is 250.
